    The EER of these units are like ALL geothermal units. All Geothermal units depend on ALL factors of the install - the eer rating is 'optimal' conditions. Basic factors are: type of loop (too detailed for a blurb), Heat dissipation of the loop (cooling), heat induction of the loop (heating). So you could end up with that kind of EER IF you installed a closed ground loop that was too shallow and in bad soil (no soil testing), that was too short and did not have enough flow...etc...etc...

    The unit only has an EER of 14 to 19 when operating in Florida.

    Why the alleged EER of only 14-19 for Florida instead of the stated EER 27-30?
